
Influencers Enlisted to Warn Irish Teens About Money Scams
Snapshot: FraudSMART, in collaboration with Core, has expanded its campaign to educate Irish teenagers about the dangers of online "easy money." This year, the initiative has partnered with prominent Gen Z influencers, including TikTok star Kasey Campion, to raise awareness about scams like money mules.
The campaign also incorporates an augmented reality (AR) lens on Snapchat and short-form content across social media platforms to enhance engagement. The success of last year's campaign has already drawn attention, becoming a case study on Snapchat’s website and discussed in the House of Oireachtas.
