Behind the Scenes of Broadridge’s Annual Predictions Series
Broadridge, the global technology company, recently released its second annual Predictions series, meant to give their clients a peek into the top macro trends the industry will need to navigate in the year ahead. Themes for 2025 included quantum computing, artificial intelligence, tokenization, regulation, and the impact of the 2024 elections worldwide on financial services.
Partnering with Vivace, the Broadridge team has been on a journey to strengthen its thought leadership content, in part by creating more content franchises such as Predictions. The initial spark for this franchise came from Vivace’s newsletter, which talked about the power of predictions in content marketing and led to the first package in 2024.
“This series delivers on our brand tagline of helping clients be ‘Ready for Next,’ allowing us to showcase the rich subject matter expertise across Broadridge – and offer insights on issues our clients care most about,” says Lisa Parkin, Vice President, Enterprise Marketing, at Broadridge.
To anchor the piece, Vivace and the Broadridge team chose subject matter experts and industry leaders to offer a diverse range of bold thinking and forward-looking commentary based on core themes that Broadridge’s clients prioritize and value. From there, the team interviewed each expert to get a few ideas for what they could speak to, using those insights to craft a broader, cohesive package.
This forward-looking content made for a powerful social campaign, as each prediction was atomized for LinkedIn, linking back to the entire piece. It performed very well on the Broadridge homepage and had a longer shelf life than most content, driving high engagement in search throughout 2024. Insights were also shared with the Public Relations team to incorporate into executive-level communications programs, creating strong alignment between owned and earned content. The team plans to continue this series and incorporate the learnings into future content programs and franchises, including its upcoming annual flagship program, the Digital Transformation study.
