
Asset TV: July Top 10 Videos and Benchmarks US, Canada

Asset TV's July 2026 benchmarking reports covering US and Canadian markets were released this week, with a combined audience of 485,000 financial advisors and institutional investors.
In the US, average views per video came in at 1,371 with 10.1 minutes of average viewing time across an audience of 435,000. A joint small cap investing masterclass from Impax Asset Management, North Square Investments, and Thrivent topped the video rankings, followed by Guggenheim Investments on markets, AI, and active fixed income ETFs, and a masterclass on active ETFs from Davis Advisors, Nomura Asset Management, and TCW. Guggenheim Investments led the company rankings, followed by MassMutual Strategic Distributors and PIMCO. Thrivent Asset Management placed three people in the top ten, with Chris Parker at number one. LPL Financial, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch were the most active viewer firms.
In Canada, average views per video came in at 922 with 10.3 minutes of average viewing time across an audience of 50,000. Franklin Templeton dominated, taking three of the top five video spots and both first and second in the people rankings. Darcy Briggs topped the people rankings with a video on fixed income plus strategies, followed by Tanya Rowntree of Cboe Canada and Michael Greenberg of Franklin Templeton. S&P Dow Jones Indices placed two videos in the top five, including a piece on the future of on-chain indexing. CIBC, RBC, and BMO were the most active Canadian viewer firms. The Canadian audience skews heavily toward IIROC-registered advisors at 72%, with financial advisors making up 57% of all viewers by job role.
Across both markets, ETFs and artificial intelligence ranked in the top three topics. Active management entered the US top five for the first time this year. In Canada, US equities and thematic investing completed the top five alongside ETFs, fixed income, and AI.
