Farmers Insurance Rebrand Goes Pink, Flips Iconic Jingle
Farmers Insurance has launched a new brand platform, Honesty Is Our Policy, marking the first work from Dentsu Creative since the agency was named creative AOR in April. The rebrand includes a new pink color palette, a repositioned tagline, and three new spots running across broadcast, digital, social, out-of-home and experiential channels.
The most discussed element is the jingle. The brand's We Are Farmers earworm, first launched in 2009, has been retained in melody but rewritten as You Have Farmers, shifting from a statement about the brand to a statement of customer benefit. Head of creative Eleanor Solomon described it as a simple but meaningful flip, preserving the equity in one of the brand's most recognisable assets while redirecting it toward what the customer receives rather than what the brand is.
The creative approach is deliberately different from insurance category norms. Rather than leading with humor or a single brand character, the campaign introduces a diverse choir that sings different messages to the jingle melody, including a self-aware line about the pink going too far. Solomon described the tone as clever rather than comedic. The all-pink palette is a clear differentiator in a category dominated by blues and the occasional red, and the choir format is a distinct choice in a space largely defined by character-driven advertising. The campaign is designed to convey clarity and transparency at a moment when Farmers is pursuing what Solomon described as ambitious growth goals.
