UK People’s Pension Takes Its First TV Campaign to TV

Published on October 9, 2026

People’s Pension has launched its first national television campaign, Famously Fair, starring comedian Joe Wilkinson as a fairy godmother who arrives at a rigged funfair to start putting things right. The campaign was created by Bountiful Cow, directed by Sye Allen, and introduces Famously Fair as a long-term brand proposition for the workplace pension scheme, which serves more than seven million savers across the UK.

The creative uses a fictional "unfairground" as a playful analogy for a pensions landscape that can feel complicated, exclusive, or stacked against ordinary savers. Wilkinson, complete with fairy wings and wand, arrives to correct the imbalance. Some of People’s Pension’s own staff appear as extras in the minute-long spot.

The campaign is expected to reach around 31 million working adults, approximately 85% of the UK working adult population, across linear TV, video-on-demand, YouTube, radio, social, and out-of-home. Bountiful Cow expanded its remit with People’s Pension at the end of last year to cover creative, media, and organic social, and Famously Fair is the first work delivered under that broader arrangement.

People’s Pension’s parent, People’s Partnership, has no shareholders and reinvests surplus profits for the benefit of scheme members, including through a Savings Reward that returns more than £4 million to eligible savers every month. Famously Fair is intended to extend across consumer advertising, employer and adviser communications, social content, and the organisation’s broader voice on fairness in pensions.
