UK's Money Co-op Rebrands, Expands Financial Wellbeing Access
Snapshot: The Co-op Credit Union has officially rebranded as the Money Co-op in a move aimed at broadening its appeal across the UK’s co-operative, retail, and charity sectors. The new identity went live in March and features a redesigned website, refreshed visuals, and a dedicated member hub offering tools and support to promote financial confidence. CEO Matt Bland emphasized the rebrand is about modernization and accessibility while staying rooted in the organization’s mission.

Owned by over 9,000 members, the Money Co-op continues to offer savings and affordable loans, with new outreach focused on expanding workplace partnerships. These partnerships provide free payroll savings and financial wellbeing tools to employees, at no cost to employers.
Marketing lead Mel Philips noted that members played an active role in shaping the new identity, even appearing in the campaign’s photography. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with members saying the brand feels more accessible and clear. The organization now invites more UK-based employers to join its mission of reducing money stress and promoting savings habits. With its refreshed identity, the Money Co-op aims to grow its impact without losing its community-first ethos.
