
eToro Campaign Uses Google AI to Tap Lifestyle-Driven Investors

eToro is betting on generative AI to better connect with aspirational investors—beginning with Italy—through a campaign built entirely using Google DeepMind’s Veo 2. The move reflects a strategic shift toward personalized, culturally attuned storytelling that taps into real consumer motivations, such as travel and lifestyle, over long-term wealth-building.
The campaign’s two cinematic, AI-generated spots depict high-end milestones like driving through Tuscany and lavish weddings on Lake Como, echoing local savings behaviors among younger Italians. Produced in collaboration with AI video specialist László Gaál and agency Marketing Arena, the campaign marks one of the first brand uses of Veo 2 and a debut for Google Israel in the commercial space.
It’s also a signal of eToro’s brand evolution as it heads toward a potential IPO valued at up to $4 billion. Veo 2's ability to generate high-quality, localized creative at scale was central to eToro’s decision to break from traditional media production.
The campaign is live across YouTube, TV, connected TV, and outdoor placements, with additional market rollouts planned. eToro’s internal teams say the project is as much about future-facing marketing capabilities as it is about media buys.
As generative AI continues to blur the line between strategy and content creation, eToro’s initiative positions the platform not only as a trading hub—but as a creative pioneer in financial storytelling.
