Money20/20 Europe: In Conversation with Imogen Nash, Director of Public Relations at FIS

Published on July 10, 2025

Financial Narrative spent June 3-5 in Amsterdam at Money20/20 Europe for a series of panel discussions and a marcomms networking meetup at the world's biggest, most influential gathering of the global money ecosystem.

We also got a chance to connect with some of the changemaking attendees. Imogen Nash, Director of Public Relations at FIS, shares how she’s navigating a crowded media landscape, embracing AI to streamline workflows, and amplifying big announcements on the global stage.

What excites you most about Money20/20?

We had a big announcement yesterday with our partners, Episode Six, launching a new solution called the FIS International Issuing Hub. So we were up there on the Breaking News stage yesterday and then have been meeting lots of people from across the industry around the event and taking in some of the presentations.

What is the biggest challenge for leaders in your role today?

I think it's just the sheer amount of noise that's out there in the industry. The number of channels that you have to cover these days. So all of the traditional channels, but also lots of new emerging channels: lots of new types of media, from podcasts and newsletters, influencers, to all of the traditional print and online publications as well. It’s just a huge, huge landscape to cover. And yeah, lots of noise. Trying to cut through is very tricky.

What are you most excited about in the world of marketing today?

I guess AI is a really exciting trend. I think we're starting to see lots of new ways to use AI across marketing, and it's making our lives easier, enabling us to focus on more specific tasks, more decision-making, and using our judgment rather than focusing lots of time on admin and those kinds of tasks.

What aspect of your job are you most excited for AI to take over?

I think particularly supporting with a lot of the admin, so things like expenses, reporting, that kind of thing. Just anything that can save those kinds of manual jobs that take lots of time out of your day.
