Chubb has renewed and significantly expanded its multi-year partnership with the Australian Open, a relationship that began in 2020. The insurer will now serve as the tournament’s Official Life Insurance Partner, Official Trophy Insurance Partner and Official Travel Insurance Partner, alongside its ongoing role as Official Insurance Partner.

The expanded agreement includes heightened brand presence, with Chubb integrated into the “Close Call” replay moments that capture high audience attention during matches. Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley said the strengthened deal reflects Chubb’s global stature and natural alignment with one of the world’s premier sports events. Chubb executives Marcos Gunn and Bryce Johns highlighted the move as a strategic fit, aligning the insurer’s commitment to excellence with the tournament’s global reach and passionate fan base.

The new designations aim to showcase Chubb’s diverse product offerings, spanning general, life and travel insurance. The sponsorship is part of Chubb’s broader strategy of aligning with high-profile global sporting events, which also includes its partnership with the US Open since 2020. Both organisations see the renewed agreement as an opportunity to create memorable experiences while reinforcing brand credibility on an international stage.
