LinkedIn Turns Content Into Lead Alerts With New Notifications
Published on August 19, 2025
Snapshot: LinkedIn is expanding its analytics tools to deliver more immediate feedback to users on how their posts are performing.
The platform will now send notifications when posts drive new profile viewers or followers, adding to the standard impressions metric. These alerts will arrive at key engagement moments, including three and seven days after posting.
The move reflects member demand for insights that go beyond vanity metrics and connect content performance to tangible opportunities.
LinkedIn’s VP of Product Management Gyanda Sachdeva described the change as a way to help members “regularly stay informed on how successful your content is” and capitalize on potential professional connections.
