BNP Paribas Fortis Serves Up a New Tennis Partnership

Published on October 13, 2025

BNP Paribas Fortis has added another ace to its tennis portfolio, becoming title partner of the European Open in Belgium. The move extends the bank’s long-term commitment to tennis at every level, from grassroots to professional, through initiatives like the Young Talents Team Belgium and the Justine Henin Academy.

Since 2017, its Tennis Affinity Program has equipped over 200 clubs nationwide with professional-grade gear, while sponsorship of eight tournaments across regions ensures young players can compete close to home. Rising talent Raphaël Collignon, a product of the bank’s youth program, now competes in the Davis Cup and the European Open, underscoring the impact of that investment. The new partnership positions the European Open as a flagship event within BNP Paribas Fortis’ tennis ecosystem.

The bank says the expanded sponsorship reinforces its role as a consistent and trusted force in both sport and community life.
