
Richard George appointed Global Head of Platforms Marketing at BNY
BNY has hired Richard George as Global Head of Platforms Marketing. He joins from the London Stock Exchange Group, where he recently served as Global Head of Business Marketing.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “I’m excited to lead the Product Marketing organization, working alongside our brilliant business leaders, their businesses, and Marketing & Comms colleagues, to tell our story and drive meaningful impact.”
George has held VP roles at Thomson Reuters and eir Ireland, and his career includes senior roles at Virgin Media O2 and Marks and Spencer.
George has a B.A. in Geography from the University of Southampton and did a year-long course from Columbia Business School.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, George stays connected to the financial marcomms community as a member of Financial Narrative.
