Amethyst Vargas promoted to CMO at Brighthouse Financial
Amethyst Vargas has assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Brighthouse Financial from her recent post of VP, Brand and Strategic Partner Marketing.
Vargas wrote on LinkedIn: “It still feels a little surreal. I’m proud, of course, but mostly grateful: for every team that trusted me, every colleague that supported me, every leader who pushed me, and every challenge that made me better (even when it didn’t feel like it at the time). I work with the best team in the industry, so there’s no doubt in my mind we will keep doing great things! Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey so far. I’m ready for the next chapter. Let’s go!”
Prior to this, Vargas worked at MetLife, MassMutual and Travelers Life & Annuity.
Vargas has a BBA in Marketing from Temple University.
