Jan Metcalf accepts senior Marketing role at Nium

Nium has welcomed Jan Metcalf as Director – Vertical and Product Marketing (Banking and FIs). He joins from RedCompass Labs where he served as Senior VP, Marketing.
Metcalf wrote on LinkedIn: “Payments is evolving faster than ever. The rails we know today are being reimagined right in front of us, and for banks and FIs the question is no longer if they should pay attention, but how fast they can move. Feels like the perfect moment to be at the forefront of that change with the Nium team. Some massive things coming up in 2026, stay tuned!”
Previously, Metcalf held Marketing posts at Finastra, Swift and Deeson, and worked at IBS Intelligence.
Metcalf has a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Modern History from the University of Manchester.
