When Even a Magic Wish Can't Get You In, a Piraeus Visa Card Might

Piraeus Bank launched a campaign for the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four in Athens built on a single honest insight: tickets are already gone, and no amount of effort or luck in the conventional sense will get you one.

The film, titled The Third Wish, frames the impossibility of securing a ticket as so absolute that even a magic wish wouldn't work. The Piraeus Visa card is positioned as the only remaining option.

The campaign connects to a live promotion running from mid-April through mid-May, where any purchase of €50 or more made with a Piraeus credit, debit, or prepaid card enters the cardholder into a draw for one of five double VIP packages to the Final Four. The event, presented by Etihad, is returning to Athens and represents the biggest club basketball occasion in Europe.

The creative logic is straightforward: rather than overselling access, the campaign leads with scarcity and uses humor to make the card feel like a genuine shortcut. It is a clean example of a financial brand using a sports sponsorship to solve a real consumer problem rather than simply attach its logo to an event.
