Chase UK World Cup Campaign Centres Grassroots Football Coaches

Published on July 6, 2026

Chase has launched an integrated World Cup campaign centred on grassroots football coaches and the long-term community impact of its football coaching programme. The campaign, running across TV, cinema, out-of-home, radio, social, and PR, uses the tournament as a platform to tell stories of coaches whose influence extends beyond matchday.

The out-of-home element includes a seven-day immersive 3D takeover of the Piccadilly Lights from June 22, featuring Chase coaching programme beneficiaries alongside tournament creative. As the Official Payment Partner of Transport for London, Chase is also running a football-themed card reader takeover at selected stations during the tournament, tying its payment infrastructure role to the Home Nations campaign.

The PR programme is built around real connections between the coaching chain. A Coaching Heroes activation links the grassroots coaches who helped develop Bukayo Saka, Reece James, and Eberechi Eze with a local Chase beneficiary. A separate activation called Your Tournament takes beneficiary Amir and his under-11s to St George's Park for coaching insights from Thomas Tuchel. In Scotland, 1998 international Jackie McNamara is paired with a local programme participant ahead of the tournament. A content partnership with The Telegraph will run a coaching column series featuring Scott Parker alongside a spotlight on programme beneficiary Calron Hall.

Social activity is anchored by the Oracle Teller Machine, a fortune-telling physical activation travelling between the US and UK that reacts to live match moments and gives fans the chance to win prizes, designed to generate reactive content around England and Scotland fixtures throughout the group stages.
