Salvador Guerrero Named VP of Corporate Comms and PR at RBFCU

Salvador Guerrero has been appointed VP, Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union.

RBFCU, which Guerrero joined in 2016, was named one of Newsweek's "America's Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions" for 2024.

In his most recent role, Guerrero managed communications and public relations, including establishing communications policies and procedures for corporate media channels as assistant VP for corporate communications and public relations. He also executed Political Action Committee initiatives, led credit union crisis communications and managed digital communications channels. 

He began at the credit union as a Communication Specialist to lead company-wide grassroots calls-to-action campaigns, and state and federal government initiatives for the credit union and industry. He also served as a Marketing Project Manager for the redevelopment of the rbfcu.org website.

Previously, Guerrero worked in journalism, including serving in editorial roles at the San Antonio Express-News and the El Paso Times.

Guerrero has a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, according to his LinkedIn.
