Cash App partnered with A24 to launch a limited-edition 'brat' Cash App Visa Card, bringing to life a fictional banking partnership from Charli xcx's mockumentary film The Moment, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival.
The card features the iconic brat green color from Charli's seminal 2024 album and sells for $5 exclusively through Cash App starting February 25, 2026, with cardholders unlocking a custom brat-themed payment pad. The activation came within a month of the film's premiere after A24 released a $10 dummy replica that sold out in hours, demonstrating rampant fan demand.
Cash App's 57 million monthly active users are predominantly Gen Z and Millennials with significant overlap between Cash App usage and interest in Charli xcx, making the collaboration strategically aligned with past celebrity partnerships including Shaboozey's tortoise card, A$AP Rocky and Sabrina Carpenter.
The main challenge is earning Gen Z attention without forcing it, so teaming up with music artists, athletes and actors they already love allows the brand to achieve that naturally while viewing talent partnerships as true creative collaborators rather than mere brand ambassadors.
