
AJ Coyne becomes CMO at Monzo Bank

AJ Coyne has joined Monzo Bank as Chief Marketing Officer. He joins from Spotify where he is CMO Advisory Council (Soundboard).
Coyne wrote on LinkedIn: “Honestly, it’s a role I’ve been lucky enough to be doing for a little while already. But making it official matters. Not because of the title itself, but because of what it says about the role marketing plays in Monzo’s future. And to the incredibly talented people I get to work with every day, thank you. You make the work better, the standards higher and the ambition bigger.”
Previously, he worked at WRITER, Sky, Klarna, UNDP, Clemenger BBDO, McCann, Ogilvy, IBM and The Imagine Group.
Coyne has a B.A. in Business and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University.
